In May 2004, Meg Lawrence's painting Christ with Saints and Archangels was completed and delivered to the Church of All Saints, Poplar in the East End of London. It is executed in egg-tempera - that is pure pigments bound with egg - and it has areas of gold-leaf applied in the traditional manner.
